The company founder, Shannon Westfall, is a certified sommelier and wine educator, making her a great expert on all things wine. She founded Vinfluence in 2016 to join her passion for fine wine with her desire to make a difference.
Shannon knows that wine brings people together. Her dad’s passion for wine sparked her interest when she was in college, and wine tasting became a family pastime. Shannon took her first trip to Napa in 2009 and quickly discovered the joy of visiting small, independent wineries, tasting their handcrafted, artisanal wines and getting to know the people behind the wine. Shannon says “To me, wine is so much more than just a beverage — it’s the story of who made it, where it’s from, who you’re drinking it with. There’s nothing I enjoy more than sharing a good bottle of wine with friends. Vinfluence is just that, on a bigger scale.”
